We're going to make a baby!

My ultrasound yesterday showed my lining measuring between 8 and 9mm and the doctor said the transfer is ON!

The big day is Wednesday the 21st. I fly down to LA on Tuesday and come home Thursday. I AM SO EXCITED! I can't wait to see my IP's and make a baby!

If everyone would send sticky vibes my way, it would be greatly appreciated! I will leave you with a picture of my daughter and I.... we finally got our Christmas tree put up on Tuesday. Better late than never, right?! Oh! And I got a surprise package from Nordstrom today- a beautiful Christmas gift from my IP's! As I'm sure you're getting used to, I am not patient, so I opened it as soon as I got it :) Here's a picture of that too.

Timeline

8/1/11- Applied to Growing Generations

8/9/11- Telephone interview with agency

8/23/11- Approval received from independent insurance agency

9/5/11- Travel to LA for medical and psych screening

9/13/11- Received profile of IP's from Growing Generations (and approved them right away!)

9/21/11- Medically cleared and my profile sent to IP's

10/21/11- Skype match meeting

*Disclaimer* Usually the match meeting is within 2 weeks after profiles are approved by both the surrogate and IP's. However, my IP's were in the process of having a baby and had some false labor scares, so our meeting got re-scheduled a couple times :)

10/24/11- OFFICIALLY MATCHED!

11/12/11- Trip to IP's hometown to meet them in person

11/19/11- Draft contract received

11/21/11- Phone call with attorney to review contract

11/23/11- Final contract received and signed with no changes

11/29/11- Final calendar and meds received

12/1/11- Started medications!

12/12/11- Lining check- need more time and repeat ultrasound

12/16/11- Lining check- confirmed transfer for 12/21/11, begin Progesterone

12/19/11- Transfer canceled- embryos weren't thawed in time

12/21/11- Stop meds

12/26/11- Period

12/28/11- Re-start meds

1/9/12- Lining check- need more time and repeat ultrasound

1/13/12- Lining check- need more time and Viagra and repeat ultrasound

1/16/12- Lining check- transfer confirmed for 1/21/12, begin Progesterone

1/20/12- Fly to LA for transfer

1/21/12- 5 day frozen blast transfer

1/26/12- BFP x2!!!!!

1/31/12- Positive beta, 424.8

2/2/12- Beta just about tripled, 1214.8

2/17/12- First official ultrasound- there's a baby in there and it has a heart beat of 116!

3/1/12- 2nd ultrasound, baby is in there with a heart beat of 158! Released from RE, but continuing 1.5cc of progesterone daily.

3/9/12- First OB appointment

3/15/12- Decreased progesterone to 1cc

3/20/12- Stopped progesterone!!
